If you work in photography or a related field, you always have a large number of photos to organize and you almost always need to process photos in batches. Also, some people might want to resize multiple images so that they are all the same size, or a specific size, so that it is easier for them to post them together on social media or share them with a group of people. This can be accomplished by resizing the images to a specific size.

Let's see if Nero MediaHome can help you make the resizing process simpler and more efficient.

Start Nero MediaHome

Launch "Nero MediaHome" by selecting the option from the Nero Start menu.

Select Photos

When it's finished, you'll see all of the photos that have been displayed by the timeline. You can select any of the images to view the details on the right dashboard; the resolution is the image's actual size, as shown in this image, '2730*2718'.

Let's try this feature with more than one image. I chose three photos for this video. In order to see the function list, click the right mouse button. Just click the "batch size" button when you see it.

Choose Resize Settings

You could change the Scale rate or resolutions in the Batch resize dialog. You have the option of adjusting each setting; for example, in the "scale to" setting, you can change the percentage of the image size. If you want a more precise size, simply select "resize to" and enter the appropriate number.

By the way, the pixels will range from 100 to 10000, giving you plenty of room to resize.

Configure Resize Options

You are able to make changes to advanced output settings using the options dialog. These include the file format, output path, quality, and overwrite options. In this section, you were not only able to make adjustments to the image's size, but also its format; you had the option of selecting JPEG or PNG.

When you are satisfied with all of the settings, you can proceed by selecting "ok" from the menu.

Resize Done!

Now that everything is set, we can click "Start resize" and examine the file that was generated. It will save in the directory that you specify as the destination.

Excellent results, 3 photos have been successfully resized to their new dimensions. Let's check it once more, and this time you'll click the first button to see the total measurement.

iOS HEIC Files Supported

Add one more thing, which is the fact that this batch size feature is also supported for the "HEIC" format. Apple has settled on the name HEIC for the new High Efficiency Image Format (HEIF) Standard. HEIF stands for High Efficiency Image Format. When compared to JPEG/JPG, it is capable of producing photographs with smaller file sizes while simultaneously preserving a higher image quality. This is achieved through the utilization of cutting-edge and contemporary compression techniques.

Therefore, resizing multiple photos on your iPhone will be an extremely simple process for you. The following steps are the same as the ones that were just discussed.

I really like the Nero MediaHome tool because it helps me save time and it organizes all of our digital media files.
