There are many reasons why someone might want to take the audio track out of a movie. Here are some of the most common ones:

1. To make a soundtrack: People may want to take the audio track out so they can make a separate soundtrack they can listen to on its own.

2. To save space: People can save a lot of disk space by taking out the audio track, especially if they only want the music and not the video.

3. To edit audio, people may want to extract the audio track so they can change it. For example, they might want to get rid of background noise, change the volume, etc.

4. To use in other projects: The extracted audio track could be used in other projects, like video presentations, podcasts, etc.

Overall, separating the audio track from the video track of a movie can be useful when someone wants to use the audio without the video.

Let's see if we can use Nero Video to get the music out of a movie.

Open Nero Video

Let's begin by locating the Nero Video, but before we do that, you have to launch Nero Start on your desktop.

Create Project

If you select "Make Advanced Movie" from the list of available options, you will be able to access the Nero Video edit dashboard with relative ease.

Add your Video File

You can export the video by dragging it onto the timeline and then clicking the "Export" button.

Export Audio File

When you click the button labeled "export," the Export Video page will appear. On this page, you will have the option to select "export audio to file," after which you will be prompted to select the output format; your choices will be WAV, WMA, or OGG. We decided to use WAV as the format for the audio that we output for this video.

That shouldn't be too difficult, should it? Let's pull our favorite songs from the videos you have stored and put them in a playlist.
