Windows Media Video (WMV) is a collection of video codecs and video coding formats created by Microsoft. We sometimes need to convert our video files into WMV format to display them, so you will need video editing software that can export to the WMV format. Open Nero Video
To begin, open the Nero Video application from the Nero Start desktop software.
Create New Project
To expedite the completion of our video project, let's select the "Make Advanced Movie" option.
Import Files
The first step in exporting a video is to launch Nero Video and import the file you want to export. In this demonstration, I simply open the program, find the demo video, and drop it onto the timeline.
Click Export
Select the "Export" tab to initiate the export procedure. We only need a moment more to complete the export. Some export options are located in the pane on the right side of the window.
Set WMV Format
Click the "Format" pull-down menu and select "WMV" as your export format. Specify where you want the file to go once it's exported. Clicking the "export" button again will bring up the precess bar's schedule in the lower pane. In the upper dashboard, you can watch a preview of the video again.
