Open Nero Video.

Go to the Nero Start folder on your desktop and double-click the Nero video to open it.

Create Project

Let's get a new project going by selecting "Make Advanced Movie" from the Nero Video home screen's menu.

Export Video

To create the video file you want, drag the video to the timeline and select "export."

Choose Settings

If you answer "No" to "Do you want to save your project?" When it pops up the format selection window, it will list the format in AVC, MEPG, HEVC, and any other formats you can choose from. Select "MEPG-4" and click "OK." Your video file will be in "MEPG-4" format after you click "Export."
