MPEG-1 Video File is a digital video encoding format that is often used in CD-ROMs, video streaming, and digital broadcasting. It's a popular format for digital video recording and editing because of its high image quality, short file size, and low data rate. It also works with the vast majority of media players and digital video editing tools. By exporting an MPEG-1 Movie File, you can share your altered video with other users or play it on devices that may not support your original video format.
Let's use Nero Video to generate an MPEG-1 video file for our purposes.
Navigate to your desktop Nero Start and double-click the nero video to open it.
To begin, select "Make Advanced Movie" from the drop-down menu on the Nero Video dashboard so that we can start a new project.
Drag the video to the timeline, and then select "export" to produce the video file you want to work with.
If you are asked "Do you want to save your project?" and you select "no" as your answer, the prompt will disappear. It will list the format in AVC, MEPG, HEVC, and any other format choices that you have available to select from when it pops out the format selection window for your choice. Simply select "MEPG-1" as your desired output format and click the "OK" button.
The very last thing you need to do is click the "Export" button, and then you will have your video file in the "MEPG-1" format. Congratulations, you've successfully completed the new Nero Video lesson!
