How to Export AVC Video Files

AVC is an abbreviation for Advanced Video Coding, which is also known as H.264. To export an AVC video file, you will need video editing software that supports exporting to this format.

Nero Video is video editing software created by Nero AG. To export a video in AVC format using Nero Video, follow these steps:

Lanuch Nero Video

The first thing you need to do is launch the Nero Video application from its location on the Nero Start desktop software.

New Project

To move our video project along more quickly, let's go ahead and select the "Make Advanced Movie" option.

Import Files

Prepare to launch Nero Video and load the video you intend to export into the program. In this video, all we do is select the default video that comes with the program to use as a demo, and then we simply drag it onto the timeline.

Export

To get started with the export process, click the button labeled "Export." Hold tight while you wait for the export process to finish. Within the pane located on the right-hand side of the window, you will find some export settings.

Set AVC format

Choose "AVC" from the drop-down menu located under "Format" to use as the export format. Pick a location to store the exported file before you continue. The schedule of the precess bar will then be displayed in the bottom pane after we have once more clicked the "export" button. The video will play through a preview of it once more on the dashboard up top.
