In today's digital age, it's important to keep and protect our memories. Many of us have old video tapes that we've kept for years, but as technology moves forward, it's getting harder to find devices that can play them. That is why digitizing old video tapes is so important.
By digitizing old video tapes, we can keep our memories safe and make sure they will be accessible for years to come. Digitized videos can be easily stored on a computer or other digital device, which makes it easy to share them with friends and family. They can also be quickly backed up to protect against loss or damage.
In addition to preserving memories, digitizing old video tapes can help to improve their quality. Over time, video tapes can wear down and get damaged, which makes the picture and sound quality worse. Digitizing these tapes can help make the video look and sound as good as possible.
Overall, digitizing old video tapes is an important way to keep our memories safe and make sure that they will be available to people in the future. If you want to digitize old video tapes, try Nero Recode Stick and Nero Video right now!

1. One laptop or desktop PC *1
2. Nero Recode Stick*1
3. Converter from SCART to S-VIDEO *1
4. A VCR player*1
5. VHS tapes *1
Check that your computer's USB port is connected to the Nero Recode Stick.
Connect the SCART to S-VIDEO Converter to your VCR.
Establish a connection between the Nero Recode Stick and a video source that uses analog signals.
Waiting a few seconds should be sufficient after the wires have been connected. After that, the VHS tapes have to be inserted into the VCR player. Additionally, by clicking the play button, we were able to hear the audio.
To access the "Nero Videor," navigate to the "Nero Start" folder on your desktop.
When Nero Video is launched, we can navigate to the "Capture & Import" drop menu and select "Capture from Camera or TV" by clicking it.
It will first display a notification when it is accessed, and then it will display the information. Set your capture device (AV to USB2.0).
Then you will need to adjust the audio settings, just make sure your audio device is ready (Microphone: AV to USB2.0).
Select "Enable capture device audio playback," and then locate the red button to initiate the recording process.
Your video tapes will be played in a continuous loop while the recording is taking place; when you are ready to end the recording, you can stop the playback wherever you like.
