By making a Blu-ray image file, we can preserve important data on a Blu-ray disc. One benefit is that we can quickly make a new disc from the image file in case the original disc gets damaged or lost.
It is normal to send large files or software using Blu-ray image files. A single image file can be made and sent online instead of burning multiple discs. Then, the person who gets the file can burn it themselves onto a Blu-ray disc.
Multiple Blu-ray burning programs will be able to read your Blu-ray image file. Users who don't have Nero Burning ROM can still use the image file to burn a disc with any other burning software they desire.
Additionally, making a Blu-ray image file by Nero Burning ROM is convenient, gives you options, and guarantees that data will be kept for a long time. Using it makes burning Blu-ray discs easier and sharing and sending big files is a breeze.
Open Nero Burning ROM from the Nero Start menu.
When Nero Burning ROM is launched, you will see a pop-out window; simply select "Blu-ray(UDF)" and click the "New" button to create a new task.
To begin the burn process, drag your files to the "Disc Content" view and select "Image Recorder" as your recorder. Then we could press the "Burn Now" button to get started.
The burning process will be completed in a short period of time. Then we choose a "File Name," "File Type," and "File Location" to save the image file to your hard drive.
Nice try with Nero Burning ROM to quickly create a Blu-ray image file.
