The ability to recognize songs and CDs helps in the organization of our music collection. It automatically collects music information such as title, artist, album, and genre, making it easy to find specific songs or albums.

Sometimes the metadata (song information) encoded in a song file is wrong or missing. Auto-recognition of songs aids in the correction of this metadata, assuring accurate identification of music.

To automatically recognize tracks and CDs, Nero MediaHome may connect with internet music databases and services. This enables rapid access to extra information such as album, artist, audio cover, and other recommendations.

Overall, auto-recognizing tracks and CDs in Nero MediaHome improves the management, accessibility, and enjoyment of our music collection.
